Scott Hansen, O.D. 

Optometrist

Dr. Scott Hansen grew up in Orland Park and attended Providence Catholic High School. Dr. Hansen graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, before completing his Doctorate of Optometry studies at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2021.


In addition to providing eyeglass correction for every patient’s needs, Dr. Hansen is experienced at fitting all specialty contact lenses available. He also focuses on myopia control to stop or slow the progression of nearsightedness in children.

He is certified to prescribe MiSight® myopia control contact lenses and eye drops for myopia control. Dr. Hansen provides primary medical eye care with a specialty in treating dry eyes, using all the most recent advances at our disposal.

Scott and his wife, Maggie, have moved back to the southwest suburbs after living in Chicago for several years. Dr. Hansen enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, playing pickleball, and fishing. He never misses a Bears game, catches Cubs games as often as possible, and is always attempting to improve his golf game. He is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
